Telehealth Services
If you are physically located in Texas, our clinicians can offer virtual appointments. Telehealth is provided via a HIPAA compliant platform to help protect your confidentiality.
Telehealth can be beneficial in a number of ways:
- It provides increased convenience and flexibility. You can schedule your sessions with limited disruption to your work, school or sport-related routines.
- There is no need to hassle with traffic or worry about finding parking.
- Meeting virtually is ideal if you are recovering from an injury and have limited mobility.
- There is more control of your environment. You can choose where you want to talk.
- Telehealth can actually provide more privacy since there is no chance of running into a teammate, a coach or a colleague in the waiting room.
- Even if you are traveling the state for a competition, so long as you can secure a private place to talk to ensure confidentiality, you can visit with your therapist and avoid having to reschedule your sessions.
Telehealth is not ideal for every athlete. The athlete’s needs and the nature of the issues being addressed determine the appropriateness of telehealth. Your clinician will visit with you during your intake to determine if telehealth is a good fit for you at this time. Our clinicians can also provide you with a superbill for out-of-network insurance benefits you may have indicating telehealth services were provided.
